1. Misinformation and Contradictory Advices
Everybody tells you something different, every new method dismiss the previous one or contradict it. You don’t know what to believe, who to trust and what to do first.
Solution: get informed about dieting methods or choose a method that worked for someone you know. Read a lot of reviews and testimonials before you chose a method to lose belly fat. And when you finally make your choice, you should know exactly why you did it.
2. You Can’t Give Up Old Eating Habits
Is true, is the hardest part. Old habits are sticky, hard to get rid of. And we don’t really want to. Is a well known fact that it takes at least 21 days to get rid of an old habit. But when it comes about food is even harder. We have to face this problem few times a day, every day. Is not fighting only a habit, but a whole way of life. You need a lot of will power to do it.
Solution: try to change one thing at the time. Replace one kind of junk food with something healthy. And only when has become routine, and you feel comfortable with it, move to next thing. Take a step by step approach. It may take a while to see results, and this get me to the next point:
3. You Want Super Faster Results
Is normal. But you should be realistic. With the best and most intensive methods it will take at least 2 weeks to see results. With a normal diet or weight loss program you should expect visible results in a month.
Is not fast enough? Maybe, but that fat took a long time to get accumulated. Is not like a cloth that you remove it when you don’t like it anymore. Your body needs time to readjust his metabolism and burn that belly fat.
Solution: be patient. Be persistent and don’t set goals impossible to achieve.
4. You Give Up At The First Failure
I will not tell you how important is to persevere in your efforts, you must know that by now. But i will tell you that you work so hard all your life for a lot of other goals. Isn’t losing weight a goal worth pursuing? Isn’t your body important enough? Your health?
Every failure should be taken as a lesson, learn from it and move forward. Maybe it was the wrong method, maybe it was too hard for you, maybe your body didn’t react as it should, maybe you just need a little push. So why give up? Not even Microsoft made it from the first time!….
5. Making Nothing Is The Easiest Option
Too much to do, too hard, too confusing…don’t really believe you can do it…
I can understand that. And the only thing that works here is to keep your motivation high! Think about how happy you will be losing belly fat! How great will you look! Think about how everybody will admire you, will envy you and how great will you feel about! I think is something that you should want more than anything else, more than your “10 times a day” coke or lazy evening in front of TV set with those greasy bags of snack around you! Your flat sexy belly is an achievable task, but only if you take some action to make it happens!
