There are few major reasons why somebody start to gain weight at some point in his life and become overweight. Some are widely known, but one or two are the kind of reason you not really heard about.

If you are overweight and want to lose it quickly i suggest to check them carefully. Find the reason or reasons that apply to you, understand what brought you here, then the solution will be obvious. And losing weight fast will become possible indeed.

1. EATING TOO MUCH

This might be the most obvious reason of all, but there are further reasons why somebody eat too much.

-eating too much from emotional reasons, having self confidence issues or because is easier to eat than to deal with life problems.

-eating too much because tasty food is the most affordable, easy to obtain and comfortable pleasure. It satisfy and alleviate an immediate need like boredom, loneliness or anxiety.

-eating too much because has become a habit. Our modern social culture puts a huge accent on food, and we mindlessly let it take over our lives. Think about for a moment: is you who control what you eat, or is what you eat that controls you?

So just telling someone “you have to eat less” without trying to solve the underlying cause of over eating is useless. It will not help.

So many people fail to lose weight because they missed the real cause of gaining weight in the first place. Because the diet don’t fit their personal needs. On the other side, the most successful diets are those who take a personal approach and deal with the very specific problems of every one of us. Genetics

Is the least important from all the reasons of being overweight, but the experts likes to talk about genetic tendencies like some kind of unavoidable fate. Obesity due to genetics reasons is much less spread than they want us to think. Accusing genetics is putting the responsibility on somebody else, and is much worse when it comes from the experts themselves. If you want to lose weight don’t let the genetics excuse stop you.

Metabolism

Sometimes no matter what you do or how little you eat losing weight seems impossible. Trying to count calories or further reduce portions is useless because your body’s metabolism is really slow. There are several reasons for this, like aging, health conditions, or some other reasons that you never suspected . What you need is to remove the blockages and give a boost to your metabolism to proper support your dieting efforts and start losing weight fast.

No Physical Activity

Our modern life is missing the normal ratio of physical activity-rest. We spend most of our time sitting at the office, in the driver seat, on the couch, or in front of the computer. This is one of the causes of the rampant weight gain of our children also.

But it doesn’t have to scare you, you can fix this problem right now even if you never tried any kind of fitness program. Find a fitness strategies that proved to burn the fat away in no time, or a personalized one that fits your needs and possibilities. Combined with the right diet you can be sure the weight will no longer be a problem for you.

Well, as i tried to explain several times in my posts there are some simple principles of what kind of foods make you gain weight, even if they are advertised like “healthy”, and should be avoided, and what kind of foods help you lose weight really easy.  But you won’t read about that a lot. And is a real shame.
